Nominated by the Trop Rock Music Association 7 times for Band of the Year, plus 4 Trop Rock Music Award nominations in 2012 and in 2013, and the 2014 winner (Steve Tolliver) for Songwriter of the Year. The band is known by Trop Rock fans nationwide for their high energy tropical themed rock, beach, surf, party favorites. It has been said, "They put the rock in Trop Rock". Their mix of Jimmy Buffett, Zac Brown Band, oldies and danceable covers plus their own acclaimed originals make for a festive, high energy show that pleases all ages.
The band has focused on playing larger festivals and events but is available for small venues and parties. Their CD's have seen sales throughout the U.S., Canada and Australia. Steve Way - Drums. Originally from Des Moines, IA, Steve keeps the beat for the Trop Rock Junkies, was a 2013 inductee into the Iowa Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame and has two TRMA award nominations.
Greg is an accomplished bass player, sings backup harmonies for the band and occasionally sings lead. Greg is a 2 time Emmy Award recipient from his days in television.
Performed with the Fingers Taylor Band, with Clarence Carter and has performed at the Grand Ole Opry.
